Whether you are just starting your business or you have been in business for awhile, systems help to enhance to your success. If you are constantly searching through your emails for contact information, missing critical steps in a process or you don’t know your cash flow situation then you need to have proper systems established in your business.
Here are 3 steps to help you get you started:
Make a list of all the operational/administrative areas you need in order for your business to function smoothly.
Determine which of those areas needs improvement. Make a list of where you feel problems are and how much time you spend on each area of your business.
Develop systems and processes around these problems areas by writing down the simple steps that show how your company handles each area of your business. Be sure to include critical elements involved in the process as well as any additional instructional documents that may support each system.
As a coach, you should be spending most of your time on activities that generate revenue for your business. Therefore, some of the systems you will develop can be easily delegated to your administrative consultant/virtual assistant.
When your systems are working as they should, you will have fewer client complaints and no missed deadlines, just harmony and productivity in action with all targets being met.
Remember all the processes and procedures in your business need to work together to meet the promises you make to yourself, your clients and your team in a manner that’s repeatable and predictable.
